Dear AccountMate Clients,
AccountMate Version 8.2 for SQL and Express will be released tomorrow, September 20, 2011 and available to download for clients with active software maintenance agreements.
To ensure all licensed end-users receive physical media for this new version, we are currently creating discs and will mail them this week. Please contact us upon receipt of the CD so that we may discuss the details of upgrade scheduling and cost effectiveness for your organization.
Besides including all the functionality of V8.1 and patches released to date, V8.2 for SQL and Express V8.2 also includes additional patches and numerous enhancements based on end-user feedback.
Included in our mailing is a seven page document enumerating the new features, but a partial list follows:
- Allow Shipment and Receipt of Items using Multiple Bins on the Same Order
- New Inventory Value Variance Report Facilitates Inventory Reconciliation
- Post an A/P Invoice to Multiple Cash and/or Liability Accounts (useful for fund accounting)
- Bank Reconciliation Transactions Combined in One Tab
- Recognize Tax and Deduction Liability when PR Check is Recorded
